How I describe myself: My friends tell me that I have a big heart. I feel the emotions of others and genuinely want to help change the world for the better. I tend to be creative, intuitive, imaginative, energetic, compassionate, open-minded, resilient, genuine and warm. I'm also optimistic, spiritual and introspective. I thoroughly enjoy nature, biking, hiking, traveling, writing, reading and engaging in stimulating conversation. I'm an ethical vegetarian who can't believe the way society treats animals. I'm shocked by man's inhumanity to man as well but at least there are laws in place for humans.

For me, a good time means laughing (a lot) and talking with friends, working out or walking along beautiful nature trails. I've been very lucky when it comes to traveling. I've visited Egypt, Ghana, Kenya and had the opportunity to live in Harare, Zimbabwe for a year. In fact, my moniker, Temwa, (which means love in Chi-Timbuka) was given to me by a group of students in Malawi (near South Africa).
I'm a veteran journalist who has worked as a newspaper staff writer and as a magazine editor. These days, I work in public relations and devote a great deal of time giving motivational talks to youth.( I really believe in this generation. I like to think that they are the ones who will usher in a shift of consciousness on the planet. )
